Fahrenheit 451 and Sleeper

this week in class we discussed the novel Fahrenheit 451. we also watched some clips from the movie. i had never seen before the scene that caught my attention was when the old woman burned herself alive with all of her books. i found it sad that the firemen were just standing there watching her when they are supposed to save people.

we also watched the Woody Allen movie Sleeper. this was probably my least favorite movie so far. i felt that him pretending to be a robot a little ridiculous.

then we proceeded to tie together the novel and Woody Allen's movie.

next week we will be presenting our blogs to the class and will see a presentation on the novel Fahrenheit 451!
